I deal with stress by working out and listening to music at the same time, and then afterwards I go and take a really cold shower. This helps me to stay healthy, awake so I do my work, and it helps me calm down about everything. I did hear it does help working with a friend with homework and stuff but with me and my friends whenever we sit down to do homework, we all usually get distracted easily, so its kind of hard getting things done other than shopping with friends. The best way usually to deal with stress is to just take a nap and/ or take a break from whatever you are doing. Then when you come back, come with a positive attitude that you will for sure get things done.
